It is the season

No matter your religious beliefs, Olympia has something for you  at this time of year. Whether it be casual shopping downtown any day of the week, or relaxing in our spa to escape that same frantic shopping at the malls.

The Olympia Farmers Market is open weekends. At this time of year expect to find many vendors with artistic offerings. From jams and jellies, to artwork and sculpture.

If Christmas lights are your thing, then you cannot go past our friends and neighbours at Oly Lightstravaganza. 90,000 lights will bedazzle your eyes. If you get lucky you might find cookies and hot cider too. If you are staying at the Inn you can literally see the glow from out the front, and it is a 2 minute walk to experience it up close.

For those of you who are active, then Oly on Ice, down by Capital Lake, will get your heart pumping with a bit of cardio. The rink has doubled in size and the location is convenient to downtown restaurants and shopping.

Finally go and see the Capital’s Christmas tree in the Capital Rotunda. This majestic building goes up a notch in the decoration department for the month of December.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for events, check out more at Experience Olympia’s Event Calendar. You will find events happening all over the county.
