Newsletter Reboot!

We just rebooted our newsletter, but want to make sure everyone can see what we have been up to during our expansion project, so here it is in blog form too!
We hope you will read this long in the making edition of our hopefully to be more regular newsletter. A lot has changed at the Inn!
As we left you last we were building our expansion that was 10 years in the making. Well two years later we have it functioning, and are now focusing our energies on the older part of the Inn and gardens.

Here is what we have achieved;

    • Built the Grand Victorian Ballroom – occupancy 60 people
      • Hosting Weddings, Events, Corporate Meetings, and Retreats
    • Built the new Puget suite, two bedrooms, kitchenette, private lounge and entrance
    • Refinished the original fir floors on the first floor of the Inn
    • Added individual heating and cooling to all the existing guestrooms and spa
    • Restored four original windows and storms
    • Started painting the “old” part of the inn
    • Took out six old poplar trees

The Inn will always be a work in progress. We hope you visit again soon to see the progress we have made!

    Hi Nathan and the family

    Lisa and myself often reflect on our time spent at your lovely home and how 10 years have whizzed past so quickly and that you have both persisted and worked so hard to fulfill your dreams and your ambitions and what a wonderful brood you now have so loving and the kids seem so happy.

    Lisa and myself have had some good times since we last saw you both and we often talk about the wonderful breakfasts we have had made by your dedicated wife Casey(so talented) . As you know we were making organic hand made soaps which we sold a fairs and expos and we worked hard and made a lot of money and friends but last November I had what seemed to be a canker under my tongue and it turned out to be a cancer had it removed and now into remission as well Lisa has just found out she has a degenerative arthritis (poor thing ) so we hope to make one last trip to the US next May-June so we may catch up with you again …….Warm Regards all the best for the future Bob and Lisa Murton
