Our Therapists

Joshua Collins

Joshua grew up at the Jersey Shore before happily transplanting to the Pacific Northwest. Respected Bodywork Master Kaline Alayna Kelly spotted his natural talents and pushed him to study massage formally. He attended Cortiva Institute in New Jersey and Ananda Massage Training Program here in Washington. Joshua specializes in mobilizing soft tissue to restore balance to the body and eliminating points of muscle spasm. In his limited (and much appreciated) spare time, he loves hiking, biking, and cooking. He especially enjoys tea and chocolate. Joshua looks forward to utilizing his bodywork skills to help you relax and find greater health and happiness.

Amy Luella Britsas

Amy attended Ashmead College in Seattle, graduating with honors in May, 2003. In addition to injury treatment and clinical work; Amy is proficient in pregnancy massage, Hawaiian hot stone, Lomi-Lomi, cupping, polarity, and soon to be trained in Thai massage. She is passionate about her work and it shows!

Brooke Bell

Brooke is a homegrown Olympian. She lives with her family close to the Inn.  She practices a great workflow.  She  fits in like she belongs here!

Past Therapists

Unfortunately therapists move on. They leave for other positions, to have babies, to further their education or simply leave the profession. Some of the therapists listed here may have been your favorite, but we replace them with people equally as talented. All of our therapists that move on are always welcome to join us again when they move back to the area or the like.

Yani Gallagher

Yani started as a fill-in and quickly became a requested therapist. She is taking a break currently and moved a little further from our area making working here a little too difficult. We hope to twist her arm and have her here again in the future.

Rosita Pinkerton

Rosita is moving back to the Philippines but has told us she may spend summers in the USA. If she does she may work here still.

Rosita is a gem! She has the most experience of all of our therapists and it shows. Tell her your issues and she fixes them! She trained both in the US and Philippines.

Jennifer Scheinkopf

Jennifer joined us after working as a massage therapist in Arizona. Her dedication to her massage practice and care for all her clients really came through. We were glad to have her as a part of our team.

Sadly Jennifer passed away in 2014. She will be sorely missed, she was both a friend and amazing therapist.

Rebecca Combs

Rebecca (Becky) Combs attended Brenneke Massage School (it’s since been sold to Cortiva) in Seattle, graduating in 2007. After graduation, she began studying Mayan Abdominal Massage under Dr. Rosita Arvigo which is a treatment type massage aiding in reproductive and digestive health. She had her own practice downtown Olympia, but was intrigued by an ad asking for massage therapists in The Attic Day Spa, and fell in love with this place once she saw it.

Her massage is a mix of mostly Swedish with a little Lomi Lomi (a Hawaiian massage technique) and some of the Mayan hip work. She can do treatment, relaxation, four hand,  deep tissue and will soon learn hot stone massage. Pregancy massage has become one of her specialties in the past two years.

Becky has been with us for the longest of any of our therapists and has built a solid reputation for great technique and service.

Kasey Leaverton

Kasey has been with the Day Spa almost as long as Becky. She never disappoints and has a knack for working on specific problem areas. Of course she is also fantastic at relaxation massage.

Her husband is in the military, so she often has a good connection with our military clients.

Lauren Wallenfang

Lauren worked for us in her first year as a therapist. Although a great therapist, she moved on to pursue a better fit for her practice.

Ashley Dixon

Ashley, born in Colorado grew up in western Washington, moved back to Colorado. After undergoing back surgery in 2007 she lived a life of daily, chronic, full bodied pain until a fender bender in college landed her with whiplash and on a massage table. Over time Ashley experienced first hand the healing benefits of regular massage therapy, and this inspired her to pursue a career in massage. She completed 1000 hours of training at Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in Seattle. Ashley specializes in therapeutic, hot stone and relaxation massage.
