About Us
Nathan Allan
Nathan is an Australian who loves the similarities between the Pacific Northwest and his hometown of Melbourne. It has been a dream of his to own and operate a Bed and Breakfast ever since he first traveled to Europe in the early nineties.
As a keen sea kayaker and hiker, he has a love for the outdoors. With his local knowledge growing daily he is able to help you plan your day trips or point you to local attractions and restaurants.
If you like to research and map out the details he can help you find what you need on the Internet too. He has added a computer to the guest amenities and wireless access for those of you who like to bring along your laptop.
His mission is to make your stay memorable and comfortable.
Casey Allan
Casey is a native of Washington, growing up her entire life in the shadow of the Mount Rainier. This is reflected in the amount of local knowledge she retains. She loves the diversity of the state and the amount of outdoor activities that are available because of that diversity.
Casey is also an avid sea kayaker and even spent a summer as a guide in the San Juans where she even learned more about the local area as well as the local fauna and flora. Casey also enjoys writing and photography and she finds there are numerous subjects to study for both in the Pacific Northwest.
She also has a passion for cooking, which is evident when you dine at her breakfast table. She shares Nathan's mission of making your stay memorable, while constantly working on new menu's for breakfast so you can rest assured every stay will be a new experience.

Nathan and Casey were married on May 14th 2006 in a small intimate ceremony with immediate family and friends at the Orcas Hotel on beautiful Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. Eventually we will post a photo or two here for the many interested past guests who wished us well. It really was the perfect wedding and exceeded our dreams and wishes.
